A little black bird lives in a tree in the forest, waters the leaves of its home branch day in and day out, and rejoices in its life. The curious little bird discovers the world around it and makes friends with the other animals of the forest, learns about their character and habits and finds out that together them it can survive any adventure unscathed. The little bird must beware of the red nose fox who appears again and again. However, he is not really dangerous but simple-minded. Fortunately, the little bird has friends and helpers that lend a hand to put the fox in its place. At the end of every story, the little bird returns unharmed and richer in experience to its tree.
