Pol Cabot is a boy disenchanted with his life, who after being persuaded by some friends to attend the opening of a steampunk theme park: Cucut City, finds himself trapped in a mysterious and supernatural retrofuturistic city where everyone seems to have forgotten the outside world and anyone who says the contrary is treated as a madman.
In this situation, Pol will have to join forces with the few that know the truth. Amongst these is Alice Adler, a brazen thief with sharp detective skills that will become Pol's adventure companion in their quest to unravel the mysteries of the metropolis while opposing the schemes of the enigmatic Master of Ceremonies.
