After his suspicious death, Will, a brilliant but paranoid IT expert is abruptly awakened by the Resistance in Disbalance, a surreal world populated with AI-controlled machinery, teleportation boots, pink unicorns, anthropomorphic creatures and social media. The Resistance believes the whole world is a simulation and they will stop at nothing to destroy it, believing Will is the key to its destruction.
With no knowledge of his former life, Will, now in the physical form of his internet avatar – Who must find out where he is and decide for himself what he'll believe in: is everything a simulation, is this the afterlife and does it even matter – if he can find happiness in this new world.
